Club has been a cornerstone of Savannah’s tennis community. Formerly known as the Chatham Tennis Club, the facility faced a period of decline before being revitalized by new owners Phillip and Mackenzie Whiteley, who relocated from Boston with a vision to transform CRC into the region’s premier racquet club. Phillip brings more than 15 years of experience as a standout collegiate athlete, tennis professional, and director. Mackenzie, originally from Washington state—the birthplace of pickleball—grew up playing the sport and is passionate about expanding its presence in Savannah. Together, the Whiteleys are forging strong community connections through dynamic programming and inclusive, engaging events.
